Buzz Rickson's Work Hat Mitchell Pattern Camouflage Hat BR02790 This work hat is based on the denim hat adopted by the US Army during World War I and is finished with Mitchell pattern camo fabric. The Mitchell pattern is an official military standardcamouflage fabric that was used for tents and helmet covers, and later was used to make locally made jackets and trousers. The wide brim is carved out into a donut shape, making it a luxurious design that requires a lot of fabric. The countless stitches running around the circumference are done in one stroke. The fabric seams on the back of the hat are secured with bias tape to increase strength.
