The M43 field jacket, adopted in 1943, was developed with the aim of unifying various field uniforms.
Made with durable and waterproof cotton satin backing.
In order to adapt to environmental conditions such as temperature, the jacket has a loose fit and is designed to be layered.
The chin strap prevents wind from entering, and the buttons on the button placket and pocket flaps are hidden to prevent snagging.
The front has four large pockets for convenient storage.
This highly refined design was inherited by the M-51 and M-65 that were subsequently adopted.
And then there's back painting, where the combat uniforms worn by US soldiers during World War II were used as canvases and artists painted pictures of their own liking.
The contents include the beloved aircraft used in battle and sortie score, the girlfriend left behind in his hometown, and pin-up girls from magazines sent to the barracks. There are few identical designs, and most are unique and highly original.
The back of this jacket features a precious hand-painted design of a woman and dragon with an Asian influence.
