SUGAR CANE Denim Jacket S1945 Model NON WASH 14oz Super Denim Collectibles SC19010-420N Made in Japan This denim blouse is a 1945 model from the late war period, and is symbolic of wartime models with its simplified details, military-standard doughnut buttons, and plain iron rivets. The vintage item used is one wash, in excellent mint condition, size 46 inches. The box stitching on the pleated parts is quite small, and while wartime models are generally recognized as having all-yellow stitching, this model also uses orange stitching in some areas. The buckle is made specifically for the late war type. The uneven and rough denim has a different appeal from the previous 1943 model. The texture of the collar and the thick cuffs are also unique, and the overall size is slightly smaller than usual, typical of the war period.
