The quilted jacket is lightly padded and is very popular for its soft feel, lightness, and moderate warmth. It has a subtle sheen and is made of gourd-shaped quilted ripstop nylon fabric. While the regular liner is woodland camouflage, this is an original model that uses tiger stripes. The embroidered design is a classic map pattern embroidered in all white, which is rare even in vintage items. This custom-made design was created by a soldier stationed in Nha Trang, a city that housed a US military base, in the mid-1960s.
