TAILOR TOYO Reversible Vietnam Jacket, VIET-NAM MAP x LANDSCAPE TT15800 Like the Sukajan, which was created in post-war Japan, the souvenir jacket, commonly known as the Vietjan, was created during the Vietnam War. There are two types available: one with a quilted liner and one with cotton twill, and this item is reversible so you can enjoy both. This model is a reproduction of a custom-made item made by a US soldier stationed in Phu Bai, Hue Province, central Vietnam in the mid-1960s. The cotton twill side features classic embroidered designs of a tiger and good fortune on the chest, a dragon on the sleeve, and a Vietnam map on the back. The front side is made of black nylon ripstop fabric and features the American flag and the South Vietnamese military flag on the chest, and an unusual embroidered landscape design on the back.
